Abrasive Blasting
Abrasive blasting is using pressurized air or water to propel abrasive media against a surface to remove coating, corrosion, or contamination. Also known as sandblasting, sodablasting, and hydroblasting it is used for:
- Making a rough surface smoother
- Making a smooth surface rough
- Shaping a surface
- Removing surface contaminants or materials like paint, rust or residue
- Cleaning or preparing a surface
- Finishing a surface
